Staycation

So remind me to discuss coordinating a trip to Caarried Lifemarried Life

ada with you next time we talk!

Anywho, every time I wake up on the first day of the work week, I realize I need to retire!  Especially after not being at work for an extended period of time (4 day staycation!). The many hikes were good and it was great to be able to take the parents out, too. I, surprisingly, wasn’t too sick of hubby cuz usually, if I spend too much time with him for an extended period of time, I’m in dire need of alone time. I still wanted some alone time by yesterday but it wasn’t like I felt suffocated.

  1. I think work should only be for 4 days a week and 6 hrs per day. Monday be so busy! I live for the weekends too much. I like planning weekend activities. That’s what gets me through the week.

    1. I agree. But!…the weekends are only two days of the week while the weekdays makeup nearly 3/4 of your week, and essentially, your working years. So I’ve tried to enjoy the weekdays, too – even little things like favorite shows, or hikes, or desserts. Just find/make little somethings to look forward to on the weekday evenings, too! =)
